Healthy Eating

It is of course important that when a child spends a day at nursery, the meals provided are healthy, well-balanced and nutritious.  During the nursery day, children will enjoy a mid-morning snack of fresh fruit and milk and later in the day a two-course hot lunch followed by a mid-afternoon light tea.  Weekly menus are posted on the notice board in each nursery and food is prepared on the premises.  Parents are requested to communicate any special dietary requirements to the nursery manager in writing  upon starting at nursery and the same will be catered for.

The older children taken an active role in serving themselves lunch which helps promote independence.
